Davide Motta, from Milan

Graduated from the University of Padua in Clinical and Community Psychology, he discovered his passion for theater during university, training as an actor at TPR - Teatro Popolare di Ricerca in Padua with Andrea Pennacchi. He later trained as a psychotherapist at the Teatro di Psicodramma in Milan, specializing in the facilitation of psychodrama and sociodrama. He also completed training in Playback Theatre, working directly with the co-founders of the method, Jonathan Fox and Jo Salas. He is currently an Accredited Playback Theatre Trainer at the Centre for Playback Theatre in New York, founder and leader of the company Un'Altra Storia.

Silvia Quarantini, from Brescia.

After graduating in classical literature, she obtained a diploma in acting from the Scuola del Teatro Stabile di Genova. She was mentioned in the female section of the 2007 Hystrio Prize. Since 2006, she has worked in theater as an actress with various directors, including M. Sciaccaluga, A. Conte, S. Maifredi, M. Mesciulam, M. Ghelardi, Ricci-Forte, A. Ollé-Fura dels baus, Bucci-Sgrosso, F. Cabra. She is also involved in assistant directing for M. Sciaccaluga, F. Paravidino, A. Calenda, F. Cabra, A. Chiodi in productions of the stable theaters of Genoa and Brescia. Since 2014, she has written texts for the theater (EVE-cabaret femminicida, a show in three scenes, for which she also directed and performed, together with Monica Ceccardi; monologues and dialogues that make up ensemble shows dedicated to the history or characters of her homeland: “BS015-Self-portraits on the road”; “Around the floating Piers - Monte Isola tells its story”; “The blue gold - Return to the source”; “Evolution City Show - Brixiae edition”; “Vite di palazzo” site-specific project for the historic garden of Palazzo Martinengo in Brescia, for the European Heritage Day; “Calma Musa Immortale” of which she is co-author with Marco Archetti and assistant director). She also works as a theater trainer for adolescents and adults for Teatro Telaio in Brescia.

Edoardo Ribatto, Genoese.

An actor graduated from the Civica Scuola D'arte Drammatica Paolo Grassi in Milan, since 1995 he has participated in over sixty productions with various national theaters including Teatro dell'Elfo, Teatro Stabile di Torino, Teatro di Roma, Piccolo Teatro di Milano, the Venice Biennale, and Teatro Lac in Lugano. He is also a writer and acting coach. In 2013, he made his debut with his first direction and his first original play: “Io sono il proiettile” (5 nominations at the UBU Awards 2014, performances at Teatro dell’Elfo in Milan, Teatro della Tosse in Genoa, AstiTeatro, RAI RADIO TRE); followed by the plays “Cavie” (also as director), the direction of “Ultima casa” (by Tiziano Scarpa), the play “Play-zen” (a Dance Theater show, co-directed with Giulia Staccioli of Kataklò), “Fare alba”, “Una mosca su Amleto”, “Even” (Theater-Forum on equal opportunities) and “Hotel Blanco”. As an acting coach, he has worked since 1997 in workshops he designed and led, since 2013 as a teacher at CFA in Genoa, from 2016 to 2018 as a Physical Theater instructor at the Kataklò Academy in Milan, and since 2019 at Proxima Res in Milan. Acting coach for Andrea Zorzi (world volleyball champion), he wrote for him, and for the Kataklò company, the sports show “Play zen”.

Marianna Chiaramonte, born in Milan, but from a Sicilian family.

She trained as an actress with numerous masters and attended courses, workshops, and masterclasses in acting held by important names on the national and international scene such as Familie Floez, Jurij Alschitz, Massimo Popolizio, Bruno Fornasari, Maria Consagra, Luca Micheletti, Michael Rodgers, Michele Abbondanza, Christian Burgess (Guildhall School Music and Drama), Mamadou Dioume, Cesar Brie, and Thomas Ostermeier. In 2012, she attended the Musical course at the Accademia dei Filodrammatici in Milan; she studied modern singing from 2006 to 2017 with Maestro Maurizio Zappatini, while from 2018 she began a path in opera singing with soprano Barbara Costa; she is currently studying opera singing at the Civica Scuola di Musica Claudio Abbado. From 2005 to 2019, she collaborated with the theater company I Guitti in numerous shows. She collaborates with numerous companies and cultural associations, both as an actress and as a theater trainer. Over the years, she has worked for radio (Radio Svizzera Italiana), participated in several short films and advertising campaigns (Einaudi 2012, Vodafone Business 2014).

Lorenza Dominique Pisano, from Milan.

She graduated from the Accademia dei Filodrammatici in Milan, playing the lead role of Ellida in Ibsen's The Lady from the Sea, then joined the resident company of the Teatro della Tosse in Genoa, a historic group founded by Lele Luzzati, Aldo Trionfo, and Tonino Conte, with whom she worked for several years. She later worked with many other directors, including Massimo Navone (Belgrade Trilogy by Juan Mayorga, nominated for the UBU awards), Attilio Corsini, Antonio Syxty, Roberto Trifirò, Bruno Fornasari, Arturo di Tullio, Alberto Oliva, Jacopo Boschini, Silvia Giulia Mendola, Sofia Pelczer, performing both comedic and dramatic roles, in contemporary and classical works. She continues to deepen her artistic training by periodically studying with masters such as Danio Manfredini, Paolo Nani, Pupi Avati, and, most recently, the Familie Floez of Berlin and their theater characterized by a particular use of masks. Since 2011, she has begun a long and fruitful teaching and training career: she is an acting teacher at Teatro Litta in Milan, where she holds courses in both Italian and English, teaches interpretation at the professional dance school Arte Spettacolo in Segrate, and conducts numerous courses for professionals, focusing on subjects such as vocal expressiveness, film acting, and the theatrical arts in general, both as a creative and communicative act. She also acts in Italian and foreign film productions, participated in competition at the Venice Film Festival with Un pensiero Kalasnikov, and is active on television and in commercials. She also works as a writer and translator from English, and has combined theatrical performance and training in social and psychological fields, for example addressing topics such as eating disorders and national and international adoptions.

Giovanni Di Piano, born in Salerno, adopted by Milan.

After earning a master's degree in Corporate Communication, in 2010 he graduated as an actor from the Arsenale Theatre School in Milan, with which he began a fruitful collaboration, as an actor and assistant director to Marina Spreafico and Kuniaki Ida. He became a permanent member of the Teatro Arsenale Company. He has performed Brecht, Goldoni, Aeschylus, and contemporary dramaturgy. He continued his training with Roberta Carreri (Odin Teatret), Karina Arutyunyan (Teatro Filodrammatici), Annig Raimondi (Pacta dei Teatri), Alessandro Serra (Teatropersona). He played Caravaggio for Rai and the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, as part of the successful exhibition "Caravaggio, an impossible exhibition," directed by Milton Fernandez. He has participated in performances by Italian and international directors (Marina Spreafico, Chiara Tarabotti, Thomas Zipp). He is assistant director and actor for Annig Raimondi (Pacta dei Teatri). For several years he has collaborated with the historic Teatro Colla company as an actor and puppeteer, with SpazioTeatro89 in Milan, and with Compagnia Olive a pArte in Lovere. He also works as a theatre trainer in English and Italian for children and adolescents. In 2018 he founded Bottega Teatrale Milano, a place of creation, straddling training and production, for young theatre enthusiasts.

Monica Ceccardi, originally from Emilia, adopted from Brescia, currently residing in Lugano.

Author and actress graduated from the Academy of the Teatro Stabile del Veneto, where she won the Franco Enriquez Award as best performer. She obtained her Master's Degree with honors in Philosophy from the University of Padua. She is the founder of the artistic collective MAB ensemble, whose project Biancarosarossa was a finalist at the Premio Scenario 2015. She is author, director, and actress of the Verona-based company BAM!BAM!Teatro. She works for various Teatro Stabile companies, including the Teatro Stabile del Veneto “Carlo Goldoni” and the CTB Teatro Stabile di Brescia. She was assistant director to Mina Mezzadri, and has been directed, among others, by Monica Conti, Cesare Lievi, Elena Bucci and Marco Sgrosso, Fausto Cabra, Marco Ghelardi, Lindsay Kemp, Marcos Morau, Alberto Terrani, Pippo Di Marca. Under the direction of Lorenzo Bassotto, she brought her English-language play, Shining trash, to La Mama Theatre in Melbourne. Since 2018, she has been collaborating regularly as an author and actress with Teatro PAN in Lugano (CH) and with FIT - International Festival of Theatre and Contemporary Stage of Lugano as editorial manager of the youth project Keep FIT with Radio. She is involved in theatre pedagogy, personally creating and curating theatre workshops and performances for and with adults and children. She is a professional audiobook reader for the National Center for Talking Books of the Italian Union of the Blind and Visually Impaired, and works at the "F.lli Milani of Brescia" branch.

Lucia Nicolai, Milanese

After graduating in educational sciences, she graduated as an actress from the Arsenale Theatre School in Milan in 2011 and continued her training through workshops with directors and actresses such as Serena Sinigaglia, Arianna Scommegna, Silvia Gribaudi, Mattia Fabris, Mamadou Dioume, Michelina Capato Sartore. Between 2012 and 2014, she trained as a social theatre operator at the Catholic University of Milan with an internship at the Bollate prison and dedicated herself to working with people with disabilities, collaborating with the Piccola Accademia di Cascina Biblioteca, the Spazi del Teatro di Atir, and other Milanese organizations. She leads theatre workshops and performances with children, teenagers, adults, and the elderly in nursing homes. In 2012, she starred in the short film Beep directed by Antonello Murgia, with whom she won the Best Actress award at the Movieclub Film Festival and at the Francesco Pasinetti video competition. She collaborates with Atir Teatro Ringhiera in the show Atir High School, an integrated theatre show for schools, and was assistant director to Antonio Viganò. She is the founder of the Compagnia del Bivacco with which, in 2016, she won the Pancirolli award with the show Pi Amuri - Ballad for Lovers' Flowers.
